Siblings, Half-Siblings, Progeny, and Sexlinks

The "SHPX" buttons to the right of each dog's name give quick access to Siblings, Half-Siblings, Progeny, and seXlink data.  Here, we have clicked on the    in the group beside the root dog, bringing up the progeny list for Iwan du Boiron:

Pressing brings up a list of this dog's Siblings.

Pressing brings up a list of this dog's Half-Siblings.

The top item in each SHP list includes the dog you started with, so you can get back to the original tab.  If you double click on a dog name in, for example, the progeny drop-down list, that dog's pedigree will open in a new tab.

 The drop down list from the SHPX buttons is "sticky", meaning it stays visible until you close it.  For example, if you have clicked on "S" for dog #1 and it drops down with the list of Sibs and you don't select anything in it (just *look* at the Sibs), then suppose you click on dog 870 (or whatever), the Sibs list stays down and hops over to the new dog and shows the new sibs.  It will even jump between docked and floating pedigrees. 

 You can close the "sticky" list with the little "X" in the upper right corner.

The contents of the SHPX lists can be controlled from choices in the Options window.
